Dr. Derrick Phillips
Dr Phillips is a Consultant Dermatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He sees adult patients with general skin problems (acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, other rashes & hyperhidrosis) and has expertise in skin cancer and skin surgery.
Dr Phillips studied medicine at University College London Medical School, graduating with a double merit and achieving 1st class honours in a Medical Physics and Bioengineering intercalated degree. He completed his general medical training in London and New South Wales, Australia, before embarking on specialist Dermatology training in Liverpool.
Dr Phillips has an interest in clinical research and has been involved in several high-profile clinical trials. He has published in international journals and is also a past recipient of the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology registrar prize.
Dr Phillips holds memberships with the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), British Society for Medical Dermatology (BSMD), British Society for Dermatological Surgery, North of England Dermatology society (NEDS) and the Royal College of Physicians (RCP). He is a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation and has provided press releases.
