Uvence is a revolutionary skin rejuvenation technique which utilises the regenerative properties of the body’s own fat reserves to restore the quality and appearance of the skin. Uvence is similar to other Fat Transfer procedures, but offers an even higher level of precision and the simplicity of future treatments.
Uvence is a multi-stage procedure:
The use of the patient’s own fat cells (also known as adipose cells) and innovative storage techniques amplifies the opportunities and results from this technique, making it a highly personalised treatment.
Cadogan Clinic has been at the forefront of fat extraction and transfer procedures, with our founder, Mr. Bryan Mayou, introducing Liposuction to the UK over forty years ago. Our expert surgeon, Mr Olivier Amar, has developed this groundbreaking skin rejuvenation technique, which has been built on the principle that ‘what’s best for you, is you’.

As we age, collagen and elastin, key building blocks of the skin, begin to break down, and their production slows. This results in the common signs of ageing:
In addition to being uncomfortable, these symptoms can lead to a loss of confidence and increased self-consciousness. This may affect how an individual feels in social and professional settings.
A skin rejuvenation treatment, such as Uvence, can address these concerns and help patients feel more comfortable as they age.
Unlike some other procedures, Uvence is minimally invasive and isn’t associated with some of the risks connected to other injectable treatments such as Dermal Fillers. Additionally, as it harnesses the natural properties of the body’s own fat, the results are long-term, and future treatments are dictated by the patient’s own needs and feelings, rather than a set timetable. This makes Uvence the perfect balance between surgical and non-surgical treatments providing high-quality, long-term outcomes with minimal downtime.
Thanks to the versatility and precision of Uvence, it is popular to use it to treat the common concerns of early ageing in various areas of the face and body:
Face & Neck
Uvence is most typically used to treat early signs of ageing in the face and neck. This might include concerns such as:
Eyes
The eyes are one of the first areas that show the signs of ageing, and this is a common concern for many people. This occurs as the skin around the eyes is much thinner than other areas, with less underlying fat.
Common eye concerns which Uvence can treat include:
Hands
As the hands are a hard working area of the body, and often exposed to pollution and sunlight, early signs of ageing can show here sooner than other areas of the body.
Concerns such as pigmentation and loss of skin tone are common in the hands and often make individuals feel self conscious about the appearance of their hands.
Breasts & Decolletage
Uvence is a highly effective treatment for minor concerns on the breasts and decolletage. Although it cannot match the results of surgical procedures, such as Fat Transfer to Breasts to increase volume, or Mastopexy to reduce sagging, it can improve the tone and texture of the skin, creating a smooth and youthful appearance.
Buttocks
Similar to the breasts, Uvence isn't able to address concerns such as sagging or deflated buttocks. However, ageing and weight loss can affect the tone and skin quality of the buttocks, and Uvence is able to rejuvenate and smooth the buttocks, tackling and managing less developed concerns before they become more severe.

Mr. Bryan Mayou
It is always gratifying to see the continual development of Liposuction techniques after first introducing it to the UK over four decades ago. Uvence is an especially exciting refinement of the Fat Transfer method, allowing for the storage and continued treatments over a five-year period.Mr. Bryan Mayou
Which areas can be treated with Uvence?
Any areas of damaged or aged skin across the body can be treated with Uvence to restore tone, texture and appearance.
Popular areas for Uvence treatment include:
How long is Uvence recovery?
Liposuction and Fat Transfer are both straightforward procedures, but have slightly different recovery times.
Your Liposuction procedure will be carried out under general anaesthetic, and strenuous activity should be avoided for at least two weeks. Most patients find they are able to resume normal daily activities within 2-5 days depending on their usual activity level.
The Uvence Fat Transfer treatment is similar to Dermal Filler treatment, and is performed under local anaesthetic. This takes around 30 minutes. You may experience some swelling and bruising after the injections, and your surgeon will ask you to take it easy for 1-2 days after the treatment.
Is Uvence safe?
Uvence is a safe treatment and is performed by qualified medical professionals. As the treatment is derived entirely from the patient’s own cells with no chemical or external factors, risks such as migration and allergic reaction are dramatically reduced. All Human Tissue Authority regulations are strictly adhered to for patient safety.
