Our Essential Dermatology & Skin Cancer practice remains open

The Cadogan Clinic will continue to offer patients medical dermatology appointments throughout the COVID crisis, as well as critical skin cancer screening and removal services.

General medical dermatology consultations will be booked remotely, with 'time critical' appointments still available in-clinic for suspected skin cancer cases.

'Same-visit' skin cancer excision will be possible for all cases indicating for immediate and urgent removal, under the care of one of our specialist surgeons.

Dr Catherine Borysiewicz MA(Cantab) MBBS MRCP(Dermatology)

Dr Catherine Borysiewicz studied medicine at Cambridge University achieving an MA in immunology and virology. She studied clinical medicine at University College London and graduated with distinction. She carried out medical and surgical training at a number of prestigious central London teaching hospitals. She completed her dermatology training at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Imperial. 

Catherine is an experienced NHS consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust and is the Lead for the Skin Cancer service. Her main areas of clinical interest include skin cancer, in particular skin surveillance strategies and the early detection of skin cancer, and also the management of complex cancer and melanoma. She is a member of the BAD (British Association of Dermatologists) and the BSSCII (British Society for skin care in immunosuppressed individuals) and is experienced in managing skin cancer and skin disease in immunosuppressed patients or patients receiving medical treatments and chemotherapy.

Catherine has a research interest in a very rare cancer, Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and runs the National Adult Histiocytosis Service from Imperial and sits on the Histiocytosis National Advisory Panel. She conducts internationally leading clinical research and enjoys presenting at both national and international venues.
