What Areas Can Be Targeted By Laser Liposuction Or SmartLipo?
SmartLipo is very effective at targeting stubborn pockets of fat in all areas of the body including:
- the buttocks
- hips and thighs
- abdomen and stomach area
- upper arms
- breast and chest
- neck and chin
- knees
Laser liposuction is a particularly effective treatment for sensitive areas such as the face and neck, where minimal scarring is preferred.

What Makes SmartLipo Different From Normal Liposuction?
SmartLipo removes fat by breaking down your fat cells with a laser before they are removed. It is less invasive and therefore can have fewer side effects than traditional liposuction. Laser-assisted liposuction has been around in Europe for about fifteen years.
Laser-assisted liposuction works on small, localised areas of fat on the face and body. Areas that can be treated with laser-assisted liposuction include the face, neck, jowls, arms, back, gynecomastia (or male breasts) and loose skin.
Just as with any surgical procedure, laser-assisted liposuction isn't for everyone. The ideal candidate is someone who is in generally good health and close to normal body weight, but who has areas of fat that just won't budge, even with diet and exercise.
Cadogan Clinic was founded by Mr Bryan Mayou, who pioneered the introduction of liposuction to the UK 30 years ago. Mr Mayou has personally invited Mr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, a leading surgeon and the first Surgeon to introduce Smartlipo and Cellulaze laser into the UK, to practice laser assisted liposuction at the Clinic
