Mr. Garrick Georgeu is one of the UK’s most exciting new plastic surgery talents to emerge in the last decade. He is among the first of a new breed of young plastic surgeons to undergo formal specialist aesthetic surgical training and to receive an Aesthetic Surgical degree. Mr Georgeu’s specialist interests include the full range of breast surgery, body contouring and facial surgery.

Raised in Cape Town where he qualified at the highly regarded University of Cape Town in 1993, Mr Georgeu came to the UK in 1995 for his surgical training, specialising in plastic surgery at seven different hospitals throughout the UK.

During his ten-year training period, he completed a research degree, wrote 24 clinical papers and a book chapter, and gained his place on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.

  • UCT Medical school – Class Medal for clinical methods 3rd year Medicine.
  • William Fellows’ runner up prize for presentation at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital 1999.
  • R. H. Sage runner up prize for clinical audit Presentation at Selly Oak Hospital 2007.
