This patient was concerned about heavy skin in the upper eyelid area creating a more tired and hooded appearance. Wrinkles and the beginnings of eyebags under the eyes were also a target area. The blepharoplasty procedure focussed on both upper and lower eyelids, creating a more open, smooth space between the eyelid and the eyebrow, whilst removing wrinkles and lines from under the eye.
This patient was particularly concerned with eyebags and an overall drop in the upper eye area. The male blepharoplasty targeted both upper and lower eyelids, removing fine lines and wrinkles whilst lifting the appearance of the upper eyelid.
This patient’s goal was to address monolid, where we don’t see the desired double eyelid. A monolid is normal in many faces, however sometimes the double eyelid reduces and disappears due to aging. This process can be reversed with upper eyelid surgery.
This patient underwent eyelid surgery to adjust the downward slope of the eye in general. This has been achieved by tightening the upper eyelid skin, creating a more symmetrical aesthetic.
Hooded eyes are when a person has excess skin folding down from the brow bone to the lash line. It is very common and part of the aging process. This patient underwent blepharoplasty in order to reverse this process in the upper eye area, smooth wrinkles in the lower eye area and create an overall more youthful appearance.
Puffy looking eyes can be completely normal or part of aging. This happens when the fat pads under the eyes are excessively large, or slip when skin looses its elasticity. This patient underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty to remove excess fat from above and below the eye, creating a more contoured, more youthful appearance.
