Miss Elizabeth Hawkes spoke with the Daily Mail about drooping eyelids and contact lens wearing in an article about TV chef Rosemary Shrager undergoing eyelid surgery.
Miss Hawkes explains that stretching of the skin around the eyelid occurs when taking out and putting in contact lenses, causing the muscles to droop (known as ptosis).
