The non-surgical facelift via fat transfer is an alternative technique to a traditional facelift to treat the signs of ageing on the face. Fat transfer is a procedure where your own body fat is used to plump up sunken or thinner areas of the face or to add volume organically.

As your own fat is used, fat transfer requires three steps. The first step involves the gentle liposuction of some excess fat (such as that found in the jowls, abdomen, thighs, or buttocks). The second step involves the isolation and cleansing of the fat cells. The third and final step involves the injection of those fat cells into the targeted facial areas.

After roughly six weeks, the fat transplants stabilise and become permanent, allowing you to reap the benefits of a traditional facelift without the risk of scarring or the need for a recovery period.

Fat transfer can effectively work to rejuvenate facial "wear and tear" that often appears with age, such as wrinkles and fine lines, furrows and hollows in the face. It can also be used to effectively treat lips that have lost volume.

Fat transfer to face is performed by our esteemed surgeon Mr Olivier Amar who specialises in stem cell/fat transfer and facial rejuvenation under day surgery.

The Cadogan Clinic also offers a range of minimally invasive treatments for anti-ageing and facial rejuvenation, such as injectable treatments, botox and fillers,  laser treatments and facial peels.
