Following your fat transfer to buttocks procedure you will have a waterproof dressing over your buttocks which will need to stay in place for around 10 days’ post-surgery and you may be given antibiotics to avoid infection. Your consultant may recommend that you avoid sitting on your buttocks for long periods of time following the first two weeks following your procedure. This allows the transferred fat time to settle in its new location. After this time, you can resume normal activities and normal sitting patterns without affecting your result. Where the liposuction has been performed, you will most likely be required to wear a compression garment for around three weeks and avoid exercise for up to two weeks following your surgery.
Buttock Lift Surgery and Thigh Lift Surgery are procedures to correct drooping of flat buttocks or excess skin on the thighs. The procedure is performed under general anaesthetic and can be tailored to a single area on the buttocks or thighs, or can be extended to cover the whole area. In some cases, the buttock lift may be combined with liposuction to remove excess fat over a wider area and free up the skin that needs to be lifted.Go to Treatment
