Many technological advances are being made to empower consumers to make better and more accurate decisions.
BYRDIE included the Cadogan Clinic in an article about Try Before You Buy technology, featuring the 4D Crisalix augmented reality technology for aesthetic and reconstructive breast procedures.
The Cadogan Clinic was the first clinic in the UK to launch the 4D augmented reality technology which enables patients to visualise, in real time, how their breasts will look with implants of any size and shape, how they will appear lifted, reduced or reconstructed and how they will move with the body.
The 4D simulation is created with a full body scan of the patient in order to generate a 3D view of the breasts. The patient will then be able to see her whole body in real time projected onto a mirror screen with augmented or adjusted breast size and shape. Consultant Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Mr Olivier Branford lead the launch of the technology at the Cadogan Clinic and believes that 4D imaging enables surgeons to truly understand the expectations of the patient and deliver the very best outcomes. Patients benefit with confidence in their choice before the procedure and very high satisfaction post-surgery.
