Following a Sculptra treatment, it is completely normal to have some redness and swelling in the area treated so if you have an event planned it may be best to bear this in mind. Within the first 24 hours you may want to help reduce swelling by using a cloth-wrapped ice pack on the area for a few minutes at a time. Your practitioner will advise you to massage the treated area for five minutes five times a day for five days and avoid excess sunlight/UV exposure until any redness subsides. He or she will provide you with Sculptra aftercare instructions during your consultation.
Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen — an underlying cause of facial ageing for results that can last up to two years. It's used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds.Go to Treatment
