For the past 19 years, Tatler has published an annual list of the very best doctors, surgeons, treatments, clinics and innovations in their Beauty & Cosmetics Surgery Guide. It’s an exclusive address book for anybody considering aesthetic procedures from eyes, faces, bottoms and breasts to botox and beyond.

This year’s Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide did not disappoint and revealed an extensive line-up of Cadogan Clinic’s consultants, all of whom have been selected for their surgical finesse, expertise and pioneering ethos; the very principals on which the Clinic was founded.

Dr Susan Mayou

Dr Susan Mayou, an esteemed dermatologist who co-founded the Cadogan Clinic was featured in an investigation where she treated a journalist who was on a quest to achieve the complexion of her youth and the American “rich girl skin” she admired in her twenties.

Dr Mayou, who has a special interest in skin cancer, treated the journalist, removing sun damage from her face with liquid nitrogen to reveal “pink virginal skin”. Dr Mayou also recommended laser treatment with vascular nurse Angela Williams, to remove tiny red veins on her nostrils and help in her quest to achieve skin that reflected the desired Upper East Side opulence.

The Top Doctors listings

The Top Doctors listings in the Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide are a hotly contested line-up of the very best practitioners in the country, which this year also extended to International Doctors, naming some of the most highly sought-after doctors out of the UK.

Miss Elizabeth Hawkes

Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon Miss Elizabeth Hawkes was featured in Top Doctors for Eyes, noted for her tidy blepharoplasties and interocular work, where she performs cataract procedures alongside cosmetic work.

Mr Hazim Sadideen

Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Mr Hazim Sadideen was included in Top Doctors for Bodies where he was noted for his complex reconstructions and the attention he takes, working diligently to accelerate recovery.

Mr Tunc Tiryaki

Plastic Surgeon Mr Tunc Tiryaki was featured in the Top Doctors for Face & Neck, being described as the “da Vinci of facelifts” where his secret of using fat to redefine and stem cells to regenerate was revealed.

Mr William Van Niekerk

Mr William Van Niekerk, consultant plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, and burn surgeon was celebrated for his Brazilian abdominoplasties, which involves careful reconstruction of the muscles and liposuction to achieve better contouring than traditional methods.

Dr Dan Del Vecchio

US Plastic Surgeon Dr Dan Del Vecchio, who practices at the Cadogan Clinic, Boston and New York was was hailed for his research on Brazilian Butt Lift surgery and his ultrasound-guided “ultrasafe” method, which he performs on both sides of the Atlantic. He was featured in the ‘International Doctors” section, alongside some of the world’s most sought after surgeons.

Cadogan Clinic & The London Regenerative Institute (LRI)

LRI, in collaboration with the Cadogan Clinic was also celebrated in the Guide. Founded by Mr Tunc Tiryaki, the LRI Institute comprises an elite scientific board of highly-acclaimed doctors from around the world, including Cadogan Clinic’s Founder Mr Bryan Mayou and facial plastic surgeon Dr Steve Cohen.

The LRI is located in the Corinthia Hotel and offers Regenerative Therapeutics, Regenerative Medicine and Longevity and Regenerative Surgery, which is performed at the Cadogan Clinic.
