What Happens During the Arm Fat Removal Procedure?

The arm fat removal procedure removes loose skin and excess fat deposits from the upper arm. If the patient has significant fat deposits in the upper arm then arm liposuction may be conducted with or without the arm lift.
Upper arm liposuction involves the surgeon making a small incision in the most inconspicuous place possible. As a result, there is no need to worry about scarring.

As with most cosmetic procedures, arm lifts are performed under general anaesthetic. The surgery itself takes 1-2 hours, but can be done a day case basis.
Patients report mild pain for a few days following the procedure, which can be managed using pain medication. Your surgeon will be in a better position to advise you about liposuction aftercare during your consultation.
