Sculptra is a facial injectable that works to achieve a subtle, more youthful looking appearance in a series of three treatments over as many months. Results are achieved by replacing lost collagen deep in the dermis where the skin’s structure finds its foundation.

Collagen structures provide a foundation for the skin that can be gradually restored by injection to achieve the look of fullness that lines, wrinkles and folds have depleted over time. Whilst individual results vary, on average, three sessions are required to allow noticeable results to emerge. These results will typically last for a period of two years.

Within the first 24 hours you may want to help reduce swelling by using a cloth wrapped ice pack on the area for a few minutes at a time. Your practitioner will advise you to massage the treated area for five minutes five times a day for five days and avoid excess sunlight/UV exposure until any redness subsides. He or she will provide you with Sculptra aftercare instructions during your consultation.
