Patient Testimonials
"I believe that this person is a very good all round clinician who has the ability to communicate across at any level. This individual is well liked by his patients and respected by his peers and those whom he works with. This Podiatrist is actively involved with the education of those within his profession and has provided the necessary training and learning opportunities within his department. The department has been changed considerably for the better since being appointed, by building bridges with other medical specialities within the hospital and the community NHS trust".

"Mr Barlow-Kearsley is always very polite, courteous, conscientious and mindful of protocol. He is respected by patients and colleagues alike and also treats them with respect. He always explains thoroughly the various surgical procedures with his patients - including the pros and cons - so that are fully aware of what will happen. He is very supportive to his Clinical Team and ensures that they undergo updates in various procedures, training and conferences as necessary. He is also supportive to his secretretarial team knowing that things will be sorted/arranged in his absence. On the whole, the feedback from patients is marvellous, they respect him, they listen to him and are totally confident in him. A really lovely devoted man".

I have had the chance to work with Ernest as part of the MDT in orthopaedics. I have found to be extremely deligient and meticilous in dealing with individual cases. He has been involved in our teaching discussions and always comes out with a sensible appraoch to complex problems. He is up to date with patient management and has been at the forefront of encouragement with proceedures having an impact on patient management. We have started doing Achilles tendon stripping procedure with Ernest as an example and he has been perosnally present for the injections that we have done so far. He has been discussing and closely following up these patients with us and in turn is a good example of his interest and dedication despite having a very busy schedule.
