Mr. Lucian Ion is an experienced aesthetic surgeon and a specialist in plastic and cosmetic surgery. For the Cadogan Clinic, Mr. Ion mainly focuses on: 

• Rhinoplasty, sometimes referred to as a nose job, of which he has completed over 500 surgeries.
• Cervicoplasty, sometimes referred to as a neck lift, of which he has completed over 150 procedures.
• Liposuction, of which he has conducted over 500 procedures.

Mr. Lucian Ion is one of the few plastic surgeons that specialises in facial sculpting, including chin surgery and neck lifts for men. An advocate of the use of 3-D photography for assessment and planning of facial surgery, he produces a sculpted presentation of what your face will look like after a procedure. He also applies this technology to predict the results of neck lifts and rhinoplasty. His tailored approach to every patient’s unique needs and concerns demonstrates his strong belief that advanced technology can help patients understand, plan and be part of the decision-making process regarding their surgery.

I would like to put pen to paper, to thank you for the outcome of my nose operation. It has made a huge difference to my life. Medical Training

Mr. Lucian Ion received his medical degree from the University of Bucharest Medical School. He started his general and plastic surgical training (DIS) in Paris where he studied in several prestigious hospitals.

He continued his training in Britain and passed the examinations to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). His advanced training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery was completed in central London plastic surgery units covering all the aspects of the specialty. This training included a fellowship in aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery at The Wellington Hospital in London.

Once his training was complete, Mr. Ion successfully passed both the Intercollegiate Board exam in plastic surgery and the European Board exam in the specialty, and was included on the Register of Medical Specialists of the General Medical Council, under the entry, plastic surgery.

Mr. Ion enjoys both tennis and martial arts.
